My favorite thai horror movie

Hello everyone I like horror movie so mush and today I'll suggest you with Thai horror movie.

Let's go!!!!

Hashima Project

A group of film students are being sent on a mission to shoot a documentary about the infamous haunted Hashima Island in Japan. When they come back something evil has followed them.

 Long Khong

The youngster Ta returns to his hometown. He misses his mother Daun, who was poisoned by his father Prawase, and soon he learns that his family will use black magic to bring her back. However, Ta’s family will quickly discover the price of the black magic.

Countdown (2012)

Three Thai teens in New York City are planning the New Year’s Party of their lives. They called Jesus, a drug dealer, to drop off some stuff at their apartment so they can celebrate and countdown the end of the year in style. Little did they know that Jesus’ visit that night will change their lives forever.

Thongsook 13

There is plenty to like in “Thongsook 13″ a Thai Horror Movie from writer/director Taweewat Wantha: Ghosts, Demons, a Cabin in the Woods, some humor, plenty of gore. ‘Thongsook 13″ looks more like a mix of western horror cliche and imagery than the traditional ghost with long hair usually seen in Thai and other Asian Horror Movies.
Nevertheless, after watching this trailer, I can’t wait to get a hand on this movie. What do you think?

Coming Soon (Program na winyan akat)

while trying to pirate a yet to be released Horror Movie, the employees of a movie theater start to be haunted by the ghost in the movie.

Laddaland

The title refers to a middle class subdivision in Chiang Mai, where a well-meaning man moves with his family to work for a drug supplement company. But soon this nice neighborhood will turn into a new hell.

Phobia 2 (5 Prang)

The first story “Novice“, kind of proved my point with a very boring, poorly directed (IMO) story of redemption. This was by far the weakest segment and was directed by Paween Purikitpanya who was already at the helm of the worst story in 4bia (Tit for Tat).
The second story (Ward), directed by first time director but executive producer of most of the biggest recent Thai Horror Movies, Visute Poolvoralaks,  elevated the material a little bit but was still too conformist: one creepy ghost with an isolated character in a specific location, here an hospital at night, same s..t different location.
At that point I was really starting to worry, but the next segment kind of made up for the first two stories: “Backpackers” from Director Songyos Sugmakanan was a welcome change to the usual ghost stories with the introduction of zombies!! Action packed, short and sweet, perfect timing to get the viewers’ attention back.
The 4th story, “Salvage” was a return to a more subtle type of horror with some genuine scares and a good ending (that would never happen in a mainstream hollywood movie) from the writer of Alone and Shutter and director of “last Fright” from the previous opus.
Finally, last but not least, “in the end” follows the same cast than “in the middle” in another horror comedy story built around self reference (this segment takes place during a shooting of a typical ghost horror story) where, again, nothing is what it seems. This is by far the strongest short of the whole movie (directed by “alone” and “shutter” director Parkpoom Wongpoom)  and it was smart to end Phobia 2 on this high note. A definitive must-see that justifies by itself to watch this sequel.
I hope there will be another entry to the Phobia anthologies, and I’m looking forward to the next movies from those talented directors, especially Parkpoom Wongpoom.
